Jason’s Story
Jason was born in Barboursville, WV USA and holds a degree from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He resides in Hurricane, WV with his wife Monica, and three daughters Madeline, Marlee and Meghan and is relocating to Bristol, UK in June of 2016.
Jason has been in business development, marketing and digital design for over 19 years and has been a professional trainer/speaker for 10 years. He owned a successful design and marketing/PR firm for 11 years (2000 to 2011) which was acquired by a larger agency in 2011. Jason joined the staff of River Ridge Church (USA) in 2013 where he served as Communications Director. Jason continues to work with business owners and entrepreneurs who want to use their success make a positive impact on the world around them. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and loves supporting various non-profit organizations.
Jason was the co-owner of Referral Institute of West Virginia for nearly 7 years and was involved with the organization from its inception. Jason is a Certified Referral Pipeline Instructor, Designated Referral Institute Collaborative Business Coach, Graduate of the Referral Institute Directive Business Coaching School and “Certified Networker” Program Instructor. Jason has been a BNI (Business Network International) Member for 12 years. He served as the Area Director Consultant for BNI in West Virginia and Director of Training. He provided advanced training, supervision and support to a team of 17 Director Consultants and Ambassadors as well as members statewide. He currently serves on BNI’s International Advisory Board.
Jason loves to spend time with his wife and daughters and enjoys traveling. He served on Committee for Young Life in his home area and is heavily involved in campaigns to support Young Life International where he works with local leaders to support various camps and initiatives for teens. Jason is an outdoor junkie. He loves hiking, fishing and/or mountain biking and snowboarding. He and his wife are also advocates for foster care and adoption. (two of their three girls are adopted).

In 2006, Jason was a contributor to the NY Times and Amazon.com best selling book, “Truth or Delusion, Busting Networking’s Biggest Myths” authored by Dr. Ivan Misner, founder of both BNI and Referral Institute.
He’s been a contributor and author of many articles and blogs on sales, traditional marketing, and referral strategies.
