In 2012 I was not enthusiastic about networking, I had tried it and got no business from it. Then I met Jacky and after attending an introductory workshop started her Referrals for Life programme and we have been working together ever since. We are now mutual clients and referral partners. The impact on my business and me personally has been cumulative and keeps on growing.
I wrote to Jacky “Joining the Referral Institute has been one of my best business decisions. Your training and support has proved invaluable and has shown me how I can network efficiently and use my contacts to generate referrals. 28 new clients in 6 months. Amazing !”
In 2014 I wrote “My best month so far for referrals, 14 in total, and the conversion rate looks promisingly high! I have a lot to thank you for. I recognise I need to work hard to keep the see-saw in balance this coming month as I’ve been bogged down in the tax return season.”
In 2016 I sent Jacky this wonderful little story. “I went to a meeting to support a business coach in my network, with financial advice for her client, a husband and wife team who run an Events Company. The meeting went really well and the clients confessed that they didn’t have a strong enough relationship with their present accountant to turn to him for advice. They then said although they were really comfortable with me they wanted to talk to another accountant who a friend had recommended at the week end. Their friend, who runs a catering company, had been telling them how great their accountant was as he had gone out of his way to give them a salary survey he got from a recruitment consultant he works with to show them that they were overpaying their chefs (they had not experienced an accountant doing this before). Surprise, surprise the accountant they were talking about was me. An immediate new client .” Building my referral network through Jacky’s methods has given me so much more scope to help my clients. Now whatever their issue I have a route to get them the right expertise.
