Having recently completed Jacky’s Referrals for Life programme, I have to say this is one of the most comprehensive business growth courses I have attended. It challenged my perception on how to position and market my business and created new opportunities to explore and increase sales.
Initially I was concerned about the amount of time that it would take, however I can vouch for this being time well invested – the hours/days/weeks you will get back through focusing your efforts in a more effective way generating powerful referral partners should not be under-estimated.
There were certainly a few “light bulb” moments for me during the course. As a result I am now much clearer on my target market, why I am in the business I am in, who my referral partners are and how to work in partnership with them to generate mutual business opportunities.
The “Why” of business for me was something that I hadn’t realised before attending Jacky’s course. Seeing this for the first time and how emotionally connected I was with it, also helped me be much more focussed on my ideal client and helped me distinguish myself from my competitors as my “why” is personal to me and nobody else.
Another aspect of my learning through Jacky is people’s behavioural styles (assessed through DISC profiling) which again has helped me practice the platinum rule – treat others as they would like to be treated – which has helped enhance relationships and build new one.
I know this equally applies to all sorts of businesses as Jacky provides workshops for members of my network groups and I constantly get members from across the business spectrum commenting on the value they have received as a result.
